Thanks to the extraordinary result at the 8 Hours of Bahrain, the last race of the season, Ferrari has taken the Manufacturers’ title in the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship, 53 years after its last world title.
The triumph was total with the FIA World Endurance Drivers’ Championship being taken by official drivers Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi driving the Ferrari – AF Corse 499P number 51, and conquering the fourth place at the chequered flag at the end of the last race of the season.
A historic achievement that arrives in the third year since Ferrari returned to the top class of endurance racing and which comes also thanks to the third place achieved by the sister car, number 50, driven by Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen.Calado, Pier Guidi and Giovinazzi. The triumph arrived into the final weekend with a 13-point buffer to the #83 AF Corse – the customer Ferrari (another Ferrari!) team- of Robert Kubica, Yifei Ye and Phil Hanson.
Lando Norris (McLaren) claimed victory at the Brazilian Grand Prix in São Paulo’s Interlagos circuit, extending his lead in the championship standings, though the title fight remains wide open. Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) finished second, with Max Verstappen (Red Bull) taking third after an incredible comeback starting from the pit lane. Oscar Piastri (McLaren), the other key title contender, crossed the line fifth, handed a 10-second penalty for a lap-one collision, further complicating his championship hopes. With four races left — including one sprint — the 2025 Formula 1 title battle remains unpredictable, and the Brazilian Grand Prix delivered a stunning spectacle packed with drama. Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari was forced to retire early after getting caught in the opening-lap crash involving Piastri and Antonelli. Teammate Lewis Hamilton suffered the same fate later in the race, retiring due to instability issues following a string of minor incidents. Brazilian driver Gabriel Bortoleto (Kick Sauber) also failed to finish, crashing into the barriers in a scene eerily similar to his sprint-race accident on Saturday. Both Verstappen and Piastri fought relentlessly in the closing laps to overtake Antonelli and George Russell in a bid to gain crucial points on Norris, but each attempt came up short. Next stop: Las Vegas, in two weeks — where the fight for the 2025 Formula 1 World Championship could reach a new level of intensity.

for sharing with us these fantastic pictures of his Ferrari BBLM #70 that finished 6th overall at Le Mans, on June 19th and 20th 1982. A special thanks to Sam Smith and Bob DeMart for their contribution. It is an immense privilege watching this car with such a great history... there are pages and pages of news... and Jim says "It is a great handling race car, and still amazes me every time I see it and drive it"...

Thank our Friends at Forza Motor Cars for these wonderful images of a marvelous Lamborghini Countach LP 400. This is the "Periscopio" model and is one of 150 produced. Contact us for more information or just enjoy...
