The Mexican F1 Grand Prix goes to Lando Norris (McLaren), who overtakes teammate Oscar Piastri in the race for the world championship title, with just one point more. Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) takes second place, successfully defending the position he earned in Saturday’s qualifying despite relentless pressure from Max Verstappen (Red Bull), who ultimately finished third. Fourth place goes to the young Oliver Bearman in the Haas, who was also voted Driver of the Day. Oscar Piastri finished only fifth, though he remains in contention for the drivers’ championship, just one point behind Norris and 35 point as advantage from Verstappen. Lewis Hamilton, driving for Ferrari, came in eighth after receiving a 10-second penalty, a controversial decision following a collision with Verstappen that also caused significant damage to his car. Despite that setback, Ferrari strengthens its grip on second place in the Constructors’ Championship, widening the gap over Mercedes. Appointment in Brasil in two weeks, with a double race and a double opportunity to gain points toward the driver title. Between races and sprint races, from here to December, there will be 6 races.
Ferrari is embracing the crypto world. The Italian luxury carmaker is launching a digital token that will let its wealthiest fans bid on one of its most iconic race cars – the Ferrari 499P, winner of three straight Le Mans titles. The project, called “Token Ferrari 499P,” is being developed with Italian fintech Conio and will be available only to members of Ferrari’s exclusive Hyperclub, which is a private circle of 100 top clients. The auction is planned to kick off with the 2027 World Endurance Championship season. This isn’t Ferrari’s first step into digital assets. The company began accepting Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDC for car purchases in the U.S. in 2023, expanding the option to Europe last year. Automakers around the world are testing how digital assets can fit into their business. Volkswagen Singapore, for example, recently began accepting crypto payments for vehicles and services through a partnership with FOMO Pay.

for sharing with us these fantastic pictures of his Ferrari BBLM #70 that finished 6th overall at Le Mans, on June 19th and 20th 1982. A special thanks to Sam Smith and Bob DeMart for their contribution. It is an immense privilege watching this car with such a great history... there are pages and pages of news... and Jim says "It is a great handling race car, and still amazes me every time I see it and drive it"...

Thank our Friends at Forza Motor Cars for these wonderful images of a marvelous Lamborghini Countach LP 400. This is the "Periscopio" model and is one of 150 produced. Contact us for more information or just enjoy...
